FALL 2018 APPLICATION

SPRING 2019 APPLICATION (available in fall)

The early application deadline for fall training courses is May 1.  (Early application deadline for Buck County training only is May 7). You will receive a discounted rate for early submission. Class size per training is limited to 10-15 persons so early applications are encouraged. Late applicants will be considered if there is room in the the training course. Applications will continue to be accepted until the class is full or until one month before the class start date, whichever is earlier.

  • If selected in the first round, complete an interview with a PA Master Naturalist representative.
  • Successfully pass a volunteer screening.

If an individual successfully meets all other selection requirements, however the volunteer screening report has not been received, they may be accepted on a probationary status.  Upon receipt of the official report, the probationary status will be reviewed with a final acceptance/non-acceptance decision made at that time.

Tuition: $400 (this includes initial training and a full year of program engagement and services; and a $25 fee for the volunteer screening).  A $75 tuition discount is offered to applications received by the early application deadline.
