Online Application and Instructions

Applications are accepted based on interest in volunteerism, enthusiasm for the subject, experience in natural resource conservation and availability.

FALL 2019 APPLICATION

The deadline for fall training courses is JUNE 3rd. If you apply by May 10th, you will receive a discounted rate for early submission. Class size per training is limited to 10-15 persons so early applications are encouraged.  Applications may be considered after the deadline if there is space in the course. Please contact your regional Program Coordinator or michele@pamasternaturalist.org.

  • If selected in the first round, complete an interview with a PA Master Naturalist representative.
  • Successfully pass a volunteer screening.

If an individual successfully meets all other selection requirements, however the volunteer screening report has not been received, they may be accepted on a probationary status.  Upon receipt of the official report, the probationary status will be reviewed with a final acceptance/non-acceptance decision made at that time.

Tuition: $400 (this includes initial training and a full year of program engagement and services; and a $25 fee for the volunteer screening).  A $75 tuition discount is offered to applications received by the early application deadline.
